Judging by what we have seen this past winter season, we can confidently say that knitwear has made a massive comeback. After observing some great designs, we are excited to note that two of Elizabeth Galloway Fashion Academy’s students, Michelle Lotz and Kim Gush, have been contributing towards this lush trend.
Michelle Lotz collection
For this collection, Michelle wanted to showcase her talent by expressing her individuality. She incorporated a different technique in her Winter collection by opting for knit, thereby pushing the boundaries of a commercial design approach.
Michelle's aims to reach the working woman, who knows what they want from their personal style.

Kim Gush collection
Kim knitted her range by using a large cable knit with hand spun wool, using size 12 needles. By joining the cables on the incorrect side she was able to create a tube like effect. Each Snood consists of 15 skeins of hand spun wool.

We absolutely love these knits girls, well done!
